ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a group of companies in Cyprus specializing in the provision of furniture for retail and contract projects, is currently seeking to hire a creative and experienced Technical Sales Consultant, based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Technical Sales Consultant (Ref. code: 5763/TSC/ESS/CY)

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, overseeing, and coordinating the activities within the Technical Department. The primary goal is to drive sales growth within the technical division and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the company in their area of responsibility. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and collaboration with other departments to achieve set objectives and enhance business performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for achieving sales targets set for the department.
Follow and implement strategies to expand the company’s network with consultants, aiming to improve collaboration with architects, designers, etc. Work with management when needed to achieve goals.
Provide excellent customer service and present technical products to both retail and wholesale clients, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage customer complaints and pending issues, working with the Technical Director to resolve them and escalate unresolved issues to management.
Research and evaluate potential partner companies for the department and suggest improvements to management.
Assist with selecting models, finishes, and displays for the showroom and suggest product updates at least once a year. Recommend stock clearance actions to management.
Monitor the market and competitors and suggest strategies to address competition during monthly meetings with management.
Ensure that products, catalogs, and samples are organized and presented properly in the showroom and other display areas.
Responsible for receiving and archiving product price lists, keeping digital and physical records, and ensuring enough stock is available in the showroom.
Use company software (e.g., kitchen design and AutoCAD software) after training.
Follow the directions of management and report any operational or staffing issues.
Communicate effectively with other departments within the company.
Train new and existing staff as needed, ensuring they are familiar with necessary processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Design or relevant field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical products or design.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet sales targets and manage customer relationships.
Experience with showroom displays and product stock management.
Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, kitchen design) or willingness to learn.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to train and guide new staff.
