Job Description: Reorganization Attorney

Location: New York, New York

Job Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal counsel on complex reorganization and restructuring matters.
Collaborate with clients to devise comprehensive legal strategies tailored to their specific situations.
Analyze and interpret law issues related to corporate reorganization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Lead negotiations with stakeholders, including creditors, equity holders, and governmental entities.
Draft and review legal documentation, including contracts, petitions, and other filings pertinent to reorganization cases.
Conduct legal research to remain current on industry trends and emerging issues in reorganization law.
Represent clients in court proceedings and during negotiations to effectively promote their interests.
Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff in handling reorganization cases.

Essential Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated commitment to high professional standards and client service.

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 20 years of relevant legal experience in reorganization and restructuring.
Experience in a major law firm environment is preferred.
Successful track record of handling complex cases and advising clients through challenging legal scenarios.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: Annual salary ranging from $310,000 to $435,000, commensurate with experience.
