Partner – Patent and Trademark (Intellectual Property) - Any Office (Florida)

An Am Law 100 law firm is seeking a Partner with significant experience in Patent and Trademark Litigation to join its Intellectual Property group. This position is available in any of the firm's offices, with a focus on enhancing the firm's capabilities in handling complex intellectual property disputes.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution experience, preferably admitted to the Patent Bar. The role involves working closely with other partners and senior associates on patent and trademark issues, requiring strong litigation skills and a deep understanding of intellectual property law.

Job Requirements

Experience: 8-12 years of patent and trademark litigation experience. Candidates with an engineering or computer science degree, or significant experience litigating patents in these technology areas, are highly desirable.
Skills: Strong litigation abilities, excellent drafting and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within deadlines and as part of a team.
Licensing: Admission to the Patent Bar is strongly preferred. Must be a member of the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one.
Other Requirements: Some portable business is required.
Compensation: Very competitive.
