The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), located in Washington, DC, is the national organization helping members navigate regulations and innovations to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of medicines and healthcare products. They are seeking a Manager of Communications & Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Vice President and Senior Vice President of Communications & Marketing in a collaborative department while growing your career. Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Communications & Marketing and supporting the Senior Vice President of Communications & Marketing, the Manager of Communications & Marketing provides project management, marketing, and administrative support to the Communications & Marketing department.

Responsibilities

Project and Vendor Management, Creative Services Support

Coordinate project management of Alliance- and Foundation-wide communications, marketing, and design initiatives through Asana software.
Lead project brief meetings; monitor and create sign lists and project production schedules; communicate deadlines to teams; manage cross-departmental review and routing process and implement approved changes; ensure projects are completed on time.
Manage department portal page with updated Alliance- and Foundation-wide templates, logos, graphics, one-pagers and other resources.
Manage relationships, contracting, and production with outside printers, mail-houses, and other vendors as needed.
Support the Director of Creative Services with minor graphic/video/photographic edits.

Digital Communications Support

Work with the Vice President of Communications & Marketing, the Director of Communications, and the Associate Director of Marketing & Social Media to disseminate e-blasts, blog post content, and press releases.
Serve as the project and primary content manager for HDA web properties and microsites (including HDA.org, HDA PAC microsite, the HDA Research Foundation, and the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition) to ensure that they are effectively advancing HDA’s advocacy agenda, the industry’s value proposition, educational coalitions, and other industry resources.
- Coordinate association-wide workflow for website updates, interfacing with other departments as necessary.
- Lead ongoing maintenance work of the website with colleagues and vendors alike.

Administrative and Accounting Support

Schedule internal and external meetings as necessary.
Assist departments in managing print budgets, including maintaining all contracts/ad materials/invoices for all HDA design projects.
Manage the department’s budget under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Communications & Marketing.
Code invoices and expense reports and coordinate with Accounting.
Maintain a current file of department budget reports and assist with financials and the departmental budgeting process as necessary.
Work with staff to maintain netForum database.
Maintain frequent contact with all levels of HDA staff and vendors; assist with contact with members as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree required, with majors in English, marketing, or communications preferred
Minimum of two years of professional work experience with proven experience in marketing or public communications
Excellent knowledge of and experience with general office practices and procedures
Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Education and/or Experience

Association experience
Knowledge of Adobe suite, e-marketing, project management (Asana), social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Hootsuite), media relations (Cision, Mailchimp, Arial Campaign) and web software (Kentico or similar CMS, WordPress, Google Analytics 4, basic understanding of HTML)
