Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a QA Engineer to join a fast-growing platform transforming electronics design through artificial intelligence. The company’s platform is used by over 1.5 million engineers globally to accelerate the creation of cutting-edge products such as drones, electric cars, and VR headsets. As a QA Engineer, you will take full ownership of software quality, ensuring platform reliability and excellence in user experience. This is a fully remote role, prioritizing candidates from Latin America and Eurasia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed end-to-end test plans and test cases.
Conduct manual and automated testing, including performance testing, to ensure platform reliability.
Identify, document, and validate defects, bugs, and usability issues.
Collaborate with the software team to refine continuous build and deployment processes.
Monitor metrics and maintain/enhance testing frameworks to ensure quality assurance best practices.
Drive improvements in testing methodologies and frameworks.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of QA testing experience.
Proficiency in manual testing and various testing types (functional, non-functional).
Expertise in the test lifecycle, including planning, designing, automation, execution, and reporting.
Strong SQL knowledge and API testing automation experience.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent communication skills in English, with a detail-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.

Bonus Qualifications:

Familiarity with additional testing tools or methodologies.
Experience working in remote or distributed team environments.
