Overview

Our client is seeking a Music Channel Manager to oversee the growth and optimization of YouTube channels for music content partners. This role requires a deep understanding of the music industry, content management, and a passion for digital media. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive engagement, ensure quality content distribution, and optimize performance using the latest tools and best practices.

Challenges you would face

Manage YouTube channels for music content partners, ensuring consistent growth and audience engagement
Develop and implement content distribution strategies based on trending music and audience insights
Plan and oversee content release schedules, aligning with weekly and monthly cadences
Optimize videos with compelling titles, descriptions, and metadata to maximize visibility
Collaborate with design teams to develop high-quality thumbnails and other graphic assets
Foster community engagement by managing comments and community posts
Ensure compliance with YouTube best practices and content policies
Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative efficiencies
Assist in training and onboarding new team members

The ideal candidate

Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in the music or social media industry
Strong understanding of YouTube best practices and online video trends
Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video editing software
Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred)
Strong relationship management and organizational skills
Proficiency in using spreadsheets and performance reporting tools
