Technical Project Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized Technical Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the development team, ensuring efficient project execution. This role involves managing development roadmaps, defining user stories, and implementing agile methodologies to streamline workflows. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, skilled in project management, and passionate about delivering user-centric solutions.

Challenges you would face

Manage daily operations of the development team and ensure project timelines are met
Translate roadmap items into actionable user stories in collaboration with the Head of Product
Ensure QA has clear access to acceptance criteria for testing
Implement and adapt agile development frameworks, such as Kanban or Scrumban
Develop and maintain project management methodologies for efficient execution
Foster collaboration within teams, spinning off sub-teams when necessary
Identify and mitigate project risks, engaging stakeholders proactively
Utilize wireframing and prototyping tools effectively in design and development workflows
Maintain comprehensive documentation to support team efficiency

The ideal candidate

3+ years of experience as a project manager in a software development team
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects successfully
Strong knowledge of agile development principles and software release processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate cross-functional teams
Proficiency in project management tools (experience with Azure DevOps is preferred)
Experience in feature design, UX design principles, wireframing, and prototyping

Plus

Experience as a Product Owner
Background in product marketing
Familiarity with QA processes
Basic knowledge of SQL and programming
Comfortable working with multiple environments and operating systems
Experience handling customer feedback and managing service desks
