Position Overview

We seek an attorney to support land development and transactional legal work in the energy industry. This role focuses on contracts, title review, and land acquisition, with opportunities to engage in regulatory compliance and dispute resolution. No U.S. law license is required—though it’s a plus—and experience in real estate or energy law is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (leases, easements, purchase agreements).
Conduct title research and assist in resolving ownership defects.
Support compliance with land-use and energy regulations.
Collaborate with teams to align legal work with project goals.
Organize and maintain legal documentation (leases, titles, contracts).
(Optional) Interpret GIS data for land planning, if applicable.

Mandatory Requirements

Law degree (Juris Doctor/JD or equivalent; no U.S. license required).
- For Philippines applicants: Juris Doctor (JD) suffices.
- For other countries: Equivalent law degree accepted.
1–2 years of legal experience (any jurisdiction; contract experience preferred).
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in real estate, land development, or energy sectors.
Familiarity with U.S. property law or title review (training provided).
Basic proficiency with GIS tools or SaaS platforms (not required).
