Boilermaker Welders

We are looking for trade qualified Boilermaker Welders to join our client for ongoing employment opportunities in a workshop based in Perth for an immediate start.

Their extensive range encompasses components tailored for optimal performance and durability across various applications, covering conveyor rollers, idlers, pulleys, belt cleaners, and conveyor accessories.

Interpreting drawing's, measuring, fabricating, cutting (oxy and saw) and welding pulley support frames.
Mig welding mild grade steel (250-350) - 1.2 mm wire, 6mm fillet welds, all carbon steel.
Welds will be a mix of visual and x-ray compliance to AS 1554.
Workshop experience is essential.
Cert III in Fabrication Engineering.
Forklift license advantageous.

Pay Rates / Shifts / Hours

Base Rate - $59.81 (including shift loading) + Penalties + Super
OT 1 - $76.35
OT 2 - $101.80
38 hours per week whilst training (est. 1-2 weeks)
Estimated 50 hours per week once training has been completed (if required)
Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment
Squeaky clean and very safe work environment
Just off Tonkin Highway with plenty of free parking
