As this company establishes its AI practice, they are seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in shaping and growing the domain. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial technologist to develop innovative AI solutions, working across a variety of industries to drive disruption and create real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop practical Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions for a variety of industries.
Build reusable AI libraries and frameworks to support multiple ventures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations) to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
Evaluate the feasibility and impact of AI solutions through research and proof-of-concept projects.
Take a structured approach to problem-solving, testing and comparing different AI models and implementations.
Tackle data challenges, including working with incomplete, biased, or limited datasets.
Utilize synthetic data generation and augmentation techniques to improve model performance.
Communicate findings and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in AI.
Support project teams in the successful execution and deployment of AI solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in real-world applications.
Experience in early-stage startups or building AI solutions from scratch is preferred.
Hands-on expertise with Generative AI frameworks and machine learning tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Familiarity with AI agent composition, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations, and model fine-tuning.
Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging LLMs (Large Language Models) effectively.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 0-to-1 environment.
Passion for navigating ambiguity and bringing conceptual ideas to life.
Strong communication skills to articulate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
