Security Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a technically curious Security Support Engineer to join their remote team in South Africa. This role is ideal for someone with a strong systems, networking, or infrastructure background who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical problems and helping customers succeed. You'll work across Windows, Linux, macOS, cloud platforms, virtualisation technologies, APIs, SSO, Syslog, and enterprise integrations while supporting deployments and resolving technical challenges. This is not a traditional helpdesk position; you'll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers implement, optimise, and troubleshoot security technology in real-world environments. Strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and a genuine interest in cybersecurity are essential. Experience with scripting, automation, cloud platforms, networking, or security technologies will be highly beneficial.
