Job Title: Animator (1-2 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality animations for both advertisements and media content.
Initially focus on designing ads with potential for growth into cartoon-style animations for business history and faith-based narratives.
Assist in the development of storyboards, design concepts, and animations, from conceptualization to final production.
Revise and improve animations based on feedback from the team.
Manage your own workflow independently while ensuring several hours of overlap with the team (minimum 2 hours) for collaboration.
Stay up-to-date on animation trends, techniques, and software to enhance your work.
Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and provide valuable input in the development of new concepts.

Key Requirements:

1-2 years of animation experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work (new grads with personal projects are welcome).
Proficiency in animation software such as Blender, Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects.
Comfortable working independently as the sole animator on the team, with the flexibility to manage your schedule.
Ability to produce engaging animations tailored to different audiences, with a focus on business history and faith-based content.
Creative and passionate about animation and storytelling.
Comfortable working with faith-based content and maintaining professionalism in that space.
Strong communication skills for working in a remote team.
Ability to take ownership of your work and follow through with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills:

Experience with both 2D and 3D animation techniques.
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
Strong knowledge of design principles, including typography and color theory.
Open to working with diverse creative backgrounds.
Willingness to take creative direction while also offering new ideas and innovation.

Hours:

Self-sufficient role with flexible working hours. As long as there is a minimum of 2 hours of overlap with the team, you’ll be free to manage your time.

PTO:

2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) plus US holidays.

Additional Information:

The role will start slowly, with the focus initially on ad design. As we expand, there will be more opportunities for cartoon-style animations centered around business history and faith.
This is a solo creative role; we are looking for someone independent, comfortable working on their own with minimal supervision, and motivated to help grow the animation side of the business.
We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including new grads who have worked on personal projects or freelance work.
This is a faith-based role, and we are looking for someone who feels comfortable creating content in this space.
