We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead Platform. In this role you are responsible for the development of technical solution concepts, the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of the digital experience platform (DXP). You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our innovative product

Your role:

Developing of technical solution concepts in connection with the technical operation of the platform (datamodels, interface specifications, system architecture)
Platform Management and Optimization. Working with the digital content lead, digital asset manager and other contributors
Technical consulting from the conception to the implementation of DXP solutions, including cost and time estimate
Oversee the configuration, maintenance and optimization of the platform
Create and manage usage policies and workflows, ensuring the effective governance and management of digital assets and templates
Cross-functional contribution to the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, recommending best practices and solutions to enhance capabilities
Lead DXP-related projects from start to completion, collaborating with all stakeholders and executing deliverables on time and within resource allocation
User Training & Support. Provide training and support for content authors and stakeholders on DXP functionalities, share best practices and new features, ensuring effective use of the platform
Develop documentation and userguides to facilitate platform onboarding and troubleshooting
Performance Monitoring and Reporting. Monitor the performance of DXP applications, analyze metrics, and provide insights to optimize system performance, user experience, and marketing functions leveraging customer data. Conduct A/B testing to continually improve personalized user experiences
Implement and maintain on-page SEO practices, collaborating with content creators to optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers and images for SEO.
Conduct periodic technical reviews to ensure the platform is optimized for search engine crawling and indexing. Track key SEO metrics and provide insights to help improve search visibility, coordinating with the content team to make data-driven adjustments as needed

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, plus some years of experience in managing a DXP platform
At least five years of experience as a software developer with a focus on CMS, DXP and web applications/apps
Good knowledge of software and system architecture, API ́s and web technologies in general
Good general understanding of popular frameworks in JavaScript (Node.js, React &Next, Angular, Vue & Nuxt) and PHP (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
Proficiency in DXP components, templates, workflows and integrations
Strong understanding of SEO principles
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in using project management software to organize work and enable teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate key insights
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain schedules
Strong interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mentality
Ability to work in a flexible working environment
Fluent in English (written & spoken), knowledge of German will be an additional advantage.
