Calling All Carpenters – Portland, OR

Pay Rate: $20 - $55 per hour (Based on Experience)

Great Basin Staffing LLC is looking for skilled and motivated Carpenters to join our team for various projects in the Portland, OR area. Whether you’re a seasoned journeyman or an apprentice looking to build your skills, we have opportunities available that match your experience level.

Responsibilities:

Perform framing, structural work, and general carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction drawings to ensure precision in execution.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other materials according to project specifications.
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work collaboratively with other trades and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

1+ years of carpentry experience (apprentices welcome to apply).
Proficiency in framing, rough carpentry, and/or finish carpentry.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings.
Experience working with various tools and materials common in carpentry.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools (power tools preferred but not required).

Work Details:

Positions available across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Pay range of $20 - $55 per hour, depending on experience and project type.
Full-time work with opportunities for overtime.
