PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, manage a team of operators and technicians, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and manage production activities to ensure timely and efficient output of products.
Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet targets.
Enforce compliance with food safety standards, GMP protocols, and company policies.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and performance.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and operational data.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational challenges.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in food science is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in production planning and reporting tools/software.
Strong communication and organizational skills
