We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Events & Exhibitions to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile corporate events, exhibitions, concerts, and light shows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, exhibition theme conceptualization, and booth/stand design, ensuring exceptional execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the company’s presence in the events and exhibitions industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, and key stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Event Planning & Execution:

Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale corporate events, exhibitions, concerts, and light shows.
Lead the conceptualization and development of exhibition themes, booth/stand designs, and creative event experiences.
Ensure seamless project management, from budgeting and vendor selection to logistics and on-site execution.
Maintain high-quality standards in event production, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand positioning.

Operations & Team Management:

Manage and mentor a team of event planners, designers, and project managers.
Oversee operational workflows, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to deadlines.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to optimize costs and deliver exceptional results.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Financial & Performance Management:

Develop and manage budgets for events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Monitor financial performance, revenue streams, and cost-control measures.
Generate reports and insights to assess event success, client feedback, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on corporate events, exhibitions, concerts, and light shows.
Proven experience in exhibition theme conceptualization, booth/stand design, and large-scale event production.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of event technology, AV production, and creative event design.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability.
Experience working in KSA or the GCC region is highly preferred.
