Salvation Army – Supplier Partnerships Manager

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in office, London SE5.

Salary: £43,769 per annum.

Contract: Permanent, full-time hours.

The Salvation Army, the UK’s leading social welfare charity, is seeking a Supplier Partnerships Manager to play a key role in maximising supporter engagement through overseeing all aspects of the Fundraising Department’s response handling and fulfilment operations.

This critical role will ensure that The Salvation Army maintains and increases its impactful presence as one of the top ten charities in the UK, and as a worldwide Christian Church that puts belief into action. The position will be responsible for the selection and performance management of third-party suppliers as well as oversight of inhouse activity relating to donations and enquiries from supporters. This role will also establish consistently applied approaches to supplier management across the Fundraising Department and is crucial to ensure an income stream sufficient to resource the future mission of The Salvation Army.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of successfully delivering excellent supporter care or customer service via third party agencies in a fast-paced environment. You will have a passion for delivering fantastic supporter care with strong previous experience of working in a team to deliver high-quality work on a daily basis, underpinned by operational plans, whilst operating within all regulatory and compliance requirements. You will be an analytical thinker and a solutions focused-individual with excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to develop strong, successful and collaborative working relationships within an organisation (A,I)
