About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team of British Rota Nannies for a lovely, high-profile family based in Mumbai, India. This long-term position involves caring for two young children, aged 4.5 and almost 2, within a fully staffed household. You will be responsible for one child. The family travels extensively, making this the perfect role for a Nanny who loves adventure and exploring new destinations.

This role offers a one-month on, one-month off rota, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. When on duty in Mumbai, the working hours are 12/6, but during travel, flexibility is required, and the schedule will shift to 24/7.

The family is hands-on and values a gentle, loving approach to parenting. They currently do not have Western nannies but have dedicated children’s assistants who you will work alongside. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced, proactive, and passionate about childcare, ensuring the children are engaged, happy, and well cared for in every setting.

This would suit Nannies who are naturally loving, fun, energetic and whose values align with a gentle approach to parenting and childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and education for the children, focusing on their development, routines, and emotional well-being.
Plan and organize engaging activities, games, and educational experiences tailored to the children’s interests.
Oversee the childrens nutrition.
Research and arrange age-appropriate outings and activities when traveling to new destinations.
Work seamlessly within a fully staffed household and alongside the children’s assistants.
Maintain structure and ensure continuity of care between the rota shifts.
Support the children’s English language development—French language skills would be a bonus.
Pack and organize for travel, ensuring all necessary items are prepared.
Be flexible and adaptable to the family’s evolving needs, especially while traveling.

Requirements:

British passport holder (essential).
Native English speaker (essential).
French language skills would be an advantage.
Proven experience as a Rota Nanny with an understanding of the role is highly desired.
Experience working in high-profile or UHNW households.
Strong understanding of child development, routines, and age-appropriate activities.
Able to create a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children.
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable.
A team player who can collaborate with household staff.
Passionate about travel and cultural experiences.
