Locum Physician - General Medicine Opportunity in Houston, SD

This role involves a choice of working at a VES facility or your own office, provided you meet the location requirements. Job Responsibilities:

Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments (e.g., range of motion and muscle strength testing).
No prescribing or treatment required; focus solely on evaluation.
Complete required administrative tasks, including report submissions and addendums.
Available to work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.

Qualifications:

Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
AANP certification is required.
Active and unrestricted medical license is necessary.
Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
Must have a home address listed for presentation purposes.

License & Certification Requirements:

Current medical license number.
Certification number from relevant medical board.
Confirmation of willingness to perform General Medicine services.
Status of DMA certification.
Address of your office, if applicable.
