Im working alongside an excellent Utillities contractor who are looking at expanding their current team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic commercial team. This role offers a varied workload, supporting day-to-day commercial operations across multiple projects, and would be an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to further develop their careers in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects.
Support the preparation of reports, valuations, and forecasting.
Maintain strong working relationships with commercial teams and stakeholders.
Assist with subcontract procurement and contract administration.
Contribute to risk management, cost control, and project reporting.
Provide commercial insights and support to project managers.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related experience.
Knowledge of NEC contracts (or willingness to develop this expertise).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in the construction sector is advantageous.
