Carbon Standards Certification - Commercial Director, Singapore

EnableGreen is supporting a leading international organisation in the sustainability standards space in the search for a Commercial Director to be based in Singapore

This organisation develops and manages high-integrity carbon certification standards across key areas of climate action and sustainable development—including deforestation reduction, regenerative agriculture, plastic waste management, and gender equality. Their work ensures that certified activities meet rigorous, measurable outcomes.

Your Role

As Commercial Director, you will lead on revenue strategy, stakeholder partnerships, and market positioning. You will oversee commercial operations across certification programs and help scale their impact in the Asian region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial strategy across all certification programs
Build and manage partnerships with corporates, project developers, and investors
Identify growth opportunities across voluntary and compliance carbon markets
Represent the organisation at global forums, policy discussions, and industry events
Collaborate with internal teams to align revenue with mission-led outcomes

About You

Senior-level experience minimum 10 years in carbon markets, sustainability certification, or environmental finance
Strong commercial acumen and partnership development skills
Deep understanding of market trends around climate standards and ESG
Clear communicator with experience influencing at executive and policy level

Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 160,000 – SGD 210,000 per year + performance bonus
