Frontend Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join an early-stage product team building technology that simplifies complex legal workflows. This position offers the opportunity to work on a modern stack and collaborate closely with design and product leaders to shape architecture, UX, and product direction. The ideal candidate enjoys building responsive and intuitive interfaces, solving real-world problems, and contributing to scalable and secure platforms.

Challenges you would face

Develop and ship frontend features using a modern stack including React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Build responsive and accessible interfaces with a focus on user experience and design precision
Optimize performance, state management, and maintainability across the application
Implement role-based UI components and secure workflows
Contribute to architectural decisions, testing strategies, and internal standards
Integrate with third-party services such as Stripe, Google APIs, and internal APIs
Work independently and asynchronously with a remote-first team across Latin America

The ideal candidate

3+ years of experience working with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Strong knowledge of modern React features including hooks and functional components
Experience working with REST APIs and client-side state management tools such as SWR
Understanding of role-based access control and permissions logic
Attention to detail in UX, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

Plus

Experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture or SaaS platforms
Background in document workflows or legal tech environments
Experience working with TipTap or ProseMirror for rich text editing
Knowledge of authentication flows, in-app notifications, and secure architecture
