Financial Controller
On behalf of a client, a land and real estate developer that focuses on designing and creating luxury residential real estate and world-class resorts, we are currently looking for a dynamic professional for the position of Financial Controller who will join their team in Pafos.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

Direct and supervise all aspects of the group-wide finance organizations and lead key finance projects within the group.
Lead, guide, and supervise the finance, tax, and accounting teams of the group while continually enhancing the finance function.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate financial projections and insights to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.
Continuously evaluate, advise on and lead key strategic initiatives of the group, including recommendations to create value, exploit business opportunities and enhance financial performance.
Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Maintain the credibility of the finance department by delivering relevant, timely, and accurate financial insights.
Assist with preparation of the Company's annual operating and capital budget.
Assess and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Position’s Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA) holder
At least 3 years of experience in a financial leadership role, with a strong track record of financial management, analysis, and reporting, preferably in the construction, real estate or hotel industry
Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and performance management
Extensive knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English languages
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing finance team

Employer's Details
Salary range: €40,000 - 45000 gross
Working hours: 9:00 - 17:00
