Group Procurement Director (Ref. 5901/GPD/ESS/GR)

Role Overview:

This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership position responsible for designing and executing a unified procurement strategy, harmonizing procurement policies across subsidiaries, and driving cost efficiency, compliance, and transparency.

You will work closely with C-level executives, boards, and key suppliers to optimize group-wide sourcing and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a centralized group-wide procurement strategy, focused on long-term value, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Standardize procurement frameworks and policies across subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with corporate governance, compliance, and international best practices.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize supplier engagement, building a resilient and competitive supplier ecosystem for the group.
Identify procurement synergies and unlock cost-saving opportunities through consolidated demand planning, vendor rationalization, and process harmonization.
Oversee contract negotiations and vendor performance, securing favorable terms and embedding risk management and sustainability compliance into supplier agreements.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal control frameworks, acting as a champion of procurement integrity and transparency.
Collaborate with C-level executives, boards, and key stakeholders across the portfolio to embed procurement as a strategic lever for transformation and value creation.

Candidate Profile

A senior professional with 15+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or other related fields; a Master’s degree is considered an asset
Proven track record in leading complex procurement operations within multi-entity or multinational organizations
Strong negotiation and supplier management expertise
Experience in driving transformation and performance improvement initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with complex or regulated environments is considered a strong asset
