Engineering Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and inspiring Engineering Manager to lead diverse technical teams building an AI-driven creator platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in software engineering, product delivery, and team development. The Engineering Manager will work closely with Product, Design, and Architecture to drive execution, foster innovation, and scale platform capabilities in a high-growth, remote-first environment.

Challenges you would face

Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team including AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, and DevOps engineers
Drive successful execution of the product roadmap through agile methodologies
Translate product vision into actionable plans and technical deliverables in collaboration with Product, Design, and Architecture
Ensure high standards of code quality, system reliability, and engineering best practices
Champion modern development practices, including AI-assisted development tools
Build a collaborative and psychologically safe engineering culture that values continuous learning and ownership
Oversee seamless integration of AI agents and features into the platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability
Contribute to talent acquisition and development to strengthen the engineering team

The ideal candidate

5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role or as a Technical Lead with significant management responsibilities
Proven success delivering complex software projects in an agile, product-centric environment
Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and CI/CD best practices
Experience managing teams across backend, frontend, and AI/ML development
Excellent leadership, mentorship, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to contribute to technical discussions and support architectural decision-making
Comfort working cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and architects

Plus

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience working on AI-powered platforms
Experience managing remote teams or working in high-growth tech startups
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
