Technical Lead

Our client is seeking a Technical Lead to reimagine ecommerce by connecting local inventory to online demand. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on builder who will architect and ship the MVP, make foundational technical decisions, and scale infrastructure from the ground up. Challenges you would face

Architect and build core systems from scratch with minimal supervision
Make foundational decisions on tech stack, infrastructure, scalability, and security
Collaborate directly with founders on product direction and go-to-market strategy
Set up DevOps pipelines, CI/CD systems, monitoring, and initial production infrastructure
Recruit, mentor, and grow the early engineering team
Balance iteration speed with long-term scalability and maintainability
Document all key technical decisions and architectural choices

The ideal candidate

6–10+ years of deep software engineering experience
Prior experience as a founder or early-stage startup engineer building zero-to-one products
Proficient in at least two modern stacks such as Node.js, Go, Python, or TypeScript
Expertise in scalable APIs, serverless systems, and containerization with Docker or Kubernetes
Fluency in CI/CD, monitoring, and security best practices
Strong product intuition and ability to align engineering work with business goals
Proven ability to hire and identify high-performing engineering talent
Thrives in ambiguity and takes a "how" not "if" approach to challenges
Fluent in English

Plus

Experience building ecommerce, logistics, marketplace, or retail systems
Exposure to AI/ML, vector databases, or recommendation engines
Hands-on experience scaling products from MVP to Series A
Familiarity with devtools or low-code/no-code integrations
