Job Description: Director of Sales (Rooms) - Luxury 5 Star

Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue from room bookings, aligning with overall business goals.
Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve targets, providing coaching and guidance on sales methodologies.
Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities and keep the property competitive.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional strategies and materials that drive room sales.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring financial goals are met while adhering to cost control measures.
Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to optimize performance.
Provide regular reports to senior management regarding sales activities, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
Conduct sales presentations and participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the hotel’s offerings.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Extensive knowledge of hospitality sales, along with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management software.

A minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 15 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Previous experience in a leadership or management role, specifically in a luxury hotel context is highly desirable.
