Job Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Analyze biological specimens, record data, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.
Ensure the highest standards of laboratory safety and quality control.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to interpret results and discuss patient data.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students in laboratory procedures.

Essential Qualifications

Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent is required.
Must have at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Desired Experience

Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and technology.
Familiarity with quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards in laboratory practices.
