Product Designer

Overview

Our client is reshaping access to credit in Mexico, aiming to build human-centered digital experiences for users with low digital literacy. This company is entering a new stage of product development and is looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments. The role is fully remote within LATAM and offers the opportunity to create impactful solutions from the ground up, especially for underserved users.

Challenges you would face

Co-own the design of the core loan product in collaboration with the PM and other designers
Lead the entire product design process including research, ideation, prototyping, and final delivery
Create intuitive user flows that enhance conversion and usability for individuals with limited digital experience
Participate actively in discovery, testing, and iterative feedback cycles
Contribute to product strategy and foster a design culture rooted in real user needs and experimentation

The ideal candidate

6+ years of experience as a Product Designer handling full-cycle design ownership
Proven background in startups, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or transactional environments
Portfolio showing real business impact beyond visual design
Advanced Figma skills with a strong grasp of Material Design
Deep knowledge of usability, accessibility, and design principles that promote user trust
Strong collaboration skills and ability to design coherent flows across products
Proficiency communicating and collaborating with PMs, engineers, and researchers
Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to ambiguous environments

Plus

Experience designing for low digital literacy users or financial inclusion products
Familiarity with tools like Maze, Survicate, or EVT testing
Demonstrated ability to propose and lead design experiments that positively influence business KPIs
Experience reducing user-reported friction and increasing engagement through design
