We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Manager - Corporate Affairs and Contract Administration for a leading Engineering company based in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all work related to corporate affairs, contract administration, and legal documentation within the company.
Draft, review, and manage comprehensive legal agreements and any other complex documents.
Draft and review tender documents.
Possess advanced contract drafting skills and experience in contract negotiation.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including clients, legal advisors, and authorities.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
Apply analytical thinking to manage sensitive and complex legal matters professionally.
Liaise with internal and external legal advisors, governmental authorities, and corporates when required.
Liaise with local and international clients when required.
Maintain accurate records and databases of contracts and legal documentation for easy reference and retrieval.
Coordinate and support internal departments in legal matters pertaining to contracts and corporate affairs.

Key Requirements

5–7 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment or a law firm.
Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university (English Medium).
Master’s in Law would be an added advantage.
Notary Public with license to practice in Colombo.
Commissioner for Oaths.
Excellent command of English and Sinhala (both written and verbal).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts.
High attention to detail in contract review and documentation preparation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Independently handle the work with minimum supervision.
