We are partnering with a leading multinational organisation to appoint a CSR Director to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious corporate responsibility agenda. Headquartered in London, with operations across EMEA, Asia, and North America, the business is entering a new phase of sustainable transformation.

This role is ideal for a senior CSR professional who brings both strategic vision and strong executional capability. As CSR Director, you will lead the development and implementation of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy, working closely with executive leadership and global stakeholders to advance social impact initiatives, strengthen community engagement, and align CSR activities with broader sustainability goals. You will also play a key role in enhancing impact reporting and supporting alignment with international frameworks .

Key responsibilities

Define and implement the company-wide CSR and sustainability strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Partner with senior leadership, legal, HR, operations, and communications teams to ensure CSR is embedded across departments and geographies.
Lead engagement with external partners, including NGOs, policy bodies, and community organisations, to amplify the company’s social and environmental impact.
Oversee non-financial disclosures and ESG reporting across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with evolving standards (GRI, CSRD, TCFD).
Manage stakeholder communications around CSR initiatives, including annual impact reports, investor updates, and employee engagement campaigns.
Monitor KPIs and provide data-driven insight to continuously refine programmes and identify new areas for innovation.
Act as a brand ambassador for ethical business practices and represent the organisation at industry forums and sustainability conferences.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate responsibility, ESG leadership, or sustainability consulting, ideally within a multinational or regulated industry.
Proven experience leading cross-functional sustainability programmes and ESG reporting processes at a strategic level.
In-depth knowledge of global CSR frameworks, regulatory trends, and climate disclosure practices.
Commercial acumen and the ability to link CSR and sustainability performance to brand value, risk, and business development.
Strong interpersonal skills with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across complex organisational structures.
Degree in sustainability, environmental science, social impact, public policy, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (e.g. IEMA, GRI, CFA ESG) are desirable.
