OPITO Rigger (L2, L3, L4)

Location: Guyana

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct rigging activities in compliance with safety regulations and OPITO standards.
Set up and operate lifting equipment and tools efficiently to ensure safe rigging operations.
Perform pre-lift checks and inspections of rigging gear prior to each lift.
Collaborate with various trades and personnel to plan and execute lifting tasks safely.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior riggers and apprentices.
Maintain clear and open communication with the Operations team regarding any issues pertaining to rigging.
Document and report all rigging activities, incidents, and near misses accurately.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area post-rigging activities.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the improvement of safety practices.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a rigger role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience working in offshore environments is a significant advantage.
Proven track record of successful rigging for complex lifting operations.
