Simek’s is a purpose-driven, high-growth frozen food brand on a mission to make mealtime easier and more meaningful. With a national presence and products in over 7,000 stores, we offer clean-label, craveable favorites like our top-selling frozen meatballs and lasagna.

What You Will Do

In this high-impact role, you’ll turn syndicated and internal data into compelling stories and strategies that shape how we show up with retail partners. You’ll report directly to the Director of Sales and collaborate closely with our executive and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the internal expert on syndicated data (SPINS required; Nielsen, IRI, Circana a plus)
Analyze syndicated and internal retail data to surface trends, growth opportunities, pricing dynamics, and whitespace
Translate data into clear, compelling insights that shape brand, sales, and product strategies
Provide strategic input on portfolio management, assortment planning, and promotional strategy
Build data-driven decks and visuals for buyer meetings and internal strategic planning
Collaborate with Sales to develop selling tools such as opportunity calculators and ROI models
Partner with Marketing on brand positioning, pricing, and innovation roadmaps
Work with brokers and external agencies to expand analytical capabilities and validate findings
Track performance by SKU, retailer, and channel; lead competitive benchmarking and category trend analysis
Conduct ad-hoc analysis on velocity, pricing, distribution, promotion, and consumer behavior
Translate business questions into structured analysis and actionable insights
Maintain and evolve standardized reporting dashboards for internal and external use
Develop scalable tools and dashboards that make data access routine, actionable, and intuitive

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in category analysis, sales strategy, or data analytics in CPG
Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms (SPINS required; Nielsen or IRI a plus)
Comfort with analytics tools (e.g., Bedrock, Tableau, Power BI)
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Experience supporting conventional retail accounts (e.g., Target, Publix, etc.) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
