We are a reputed headhunting company based in Colombo looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Northern Region for a leading FMCG company.

Lead and manage the sales team in the Northern region to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive volume growth and market share.
Manage distributor relationships and ensure optimum product availability and visibility in retail outlets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in the region.
Identify new business opportunities, expand retail coverage, and strengthen the GT channel.
Drive effective trade promotions and activations in the assigned territory.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the senior management.
Recruit, train, and mentor Area Sales Executives (ASEs) and Sales Representatives.
Ensure compliance with credit policies and manage collections efficiently.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing GT channels.
Fluency in Tamil is mandatory; proficiency in Sinhala and English is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Northern market and existing retail/distributor network is a must.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
