Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift (Option 1): Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
2nd Shift (Option 2): Monday–Friday, 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a custodial team at a large industrial facility in Roanoke, IN. This role is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring cleanliness standards are met, and managing a team of custodians across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and has experience supervising cleaning staff in an industrial or commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Union custodial staff
Ensure all areas of the facility (offices, restrooms, production floors, common areas) are cleaned and maintained to standard
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed
Train new custodians on safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and equipment use
Conduct quality control inspections and address any issues or deficiencies
Maintain cleaning schedules and complete necessary documentation
Communicate effectively with facility management and team members
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a housekeeping or custodial supervisory role
Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial facilities preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team across multiple shifts
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
Must pass a background check and drug screening
