On behalf of our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Technology Consultant to join their Dallas office on a hybrid basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that delivers high-quality design services across a range of sectors, with a strong emphasis on healthcare and large-scale infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of communication systems, structured cabling, audiovisual systems, and security systems for major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of technology systems including:
- Telecommunications and data infrastructure
- Audiovisual and multimedia systems
- Electronic security systems
- Nurse call and clinical communication systems
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary technology design efforts across large-scale healthcare, commercial, government, and education projects
Translate client and owner requirements into clear technical deliverables, including drawings, specifications, cost opinions, and assessments
Provide site inspections and oversee implementation of technology systems
Serve as a technical resource within the business and represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and project coordination sessions
Contribute to internal standards, documentation, and quality control processes
Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent professional experience also considered)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of low voltage and communication systems
Strong understanding of IT, telecommunications, audiovisual, security, and wireless systems
Experience working on healthcare projects is highly desirable
Familiarity with applicable codes and standards including NEC, BICSI, ANSI/TIA, FGI, etc.
Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
Professional certifications such as RCDD, CTS, CCNA, PE, PMP, or PSP are desirable but not essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client-facing responsibilities
Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed

Work Schedule & Location:

This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX
In-office presence is expected three days per week, with two days remote (Wednesday in-office is required; other in-office days to be agreed with your manager)
