Job Description: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of the bakery and ensuring a high standard of food quality and customer service.
Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Maintain inventory levels, place orders for new stock, and track usage to minimize waste.
Manage customer feedback and ensure prompt resolution of any issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring that the bakery complies with all regulations.
Assist in creating work schedules for staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Support the managing of financial transactions, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to promote bakery offerings.
Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions, fostering community engagement.

Essential Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS software.

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or bakery environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Experience in customer service and understanding of food safety standards.
Familiarity with inventory management and basic accounting principles.
Previous experience in a German bakery or knowledge of German baked goods is an advantage.
