This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced detailer and project manager who thrives in a fast-moving, highly specialized environment. If you have knowledge of AutoCAD, a background in miscellaneous metals, and the ability to run multiple projects from start to finish, this could be your next career move.

What You’ll Do:

Produce and review detailed shop drawings for stairs, railings, ladders, and other custom metalwork using AutoCAD (required).
Manage projects from design through delivery and installation.
Oversee material ordering, scheduling, change orders, and coordination between shop, field crews, and clients.
Collaborate closely with experienced installers in the Miscellaneous Metals department.
Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Serve as a mentor and leader for other detailers on the team.

Who You Are:

5+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals or structural steel detailing and project management.
Proficient in AutoCAD (required); SDS2 or Tekla experience a plus.
Skilled at balancing technical detail with big-picture project oversight.
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a niche, fast-paced industry.
Clear communicator who works well with shop teams, installers, and general contractors.
Ready to take on a leadership role in a family-oriented, quality-driven environment.
