Great Basin Staffing LLC is actively seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support multiple long-term projects across the western United States. This position involves both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on plumbing and HVAC systems in industrial environments. Travel may be required to support client locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Identify service needs and proactively address potential equipment failures
Support start-up and commissioning activities for HVAC and mechanical systems
Coordinate tools, materials, and labor for scheduled and emergency service calls
Collaborate with clients and team leads to communicate repair status and propose upgrades or system enhancements
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs
Ensure all work complies with local codes, OSHA safety requirements, and project specifications

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years minimum of maintenance mechanic or HVAC service experience
Strong working knowledge of chillers, boilers, RTUs, VRFs, and plumbing systems
Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS)
Ability to read and follow complex technical instructions, manuals, and schematics
Clean driving record and valid Utah Driver’s License
Ability to pass a background check
Strong understanding of safety protocols and occupational hazards

Preferred Certifications (a plus):

Certifications in HVAC systems, BAS, EPA, or related trades
OSHA 10/30
Manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Trane, Carrier, Daikin)
Technical degree or formal training in mechanical systems, HVAC, or facilities maintenance
