Senior Sales Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise customers and prospects in addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. This role combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen, working closely with account teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable value. The position offers a mix of client engagement, technical leadership, and solution engineering in a global cybersecurity environment.

Challenges you would face

Engage directly with prospective clients to understand requirements and deliver compelling product demonstrations
Plan and execute proof-of-value (POV) engagements showcasing solution capabilities
Create and present use cases and technical demo scenarios for cybersecurity products
Document and maintain the technical sales process for clarity and consistency
Triage and resolve analytical, technical, and operational issues during client engagements
Lead technical workshops and training sessions to drive adoption across customer environments
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs

The ideal candidate

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Intelligence Analyst, or similar role
Proven track record of success in pre-sales roles within cybersecurity or threat intelligence
Deep understanding of cybersecurity operations, with expertise in areas such as SOC/SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or OSINT
Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Self-starter capable of managing both technical and business discussions independently
Ability to lead sales and technical calls independently within 45–60 days
Willingness to travel up to 30% (as needed)

Plus

Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CISM
Experience leading workshops or product training sessions for enterprise clients
Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence (CTI) tools and methodologies
Experience in global or cross-regional enterprise environments
