Job Description: QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing effective testing strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
Executing manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure performance standards.
Collaborating with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and develop testing criteria.
Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identifying, recording, and documenting thoroughly any bugs or issues encountered.
Reviewing and analyzing system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Participating in functional and regression testing as part of the software release process.
Monitoring debugging processes and providing reports on testing progress and results.
Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team-focused environment.

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Exposure to different software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Prior experience in a similar industry or domain is a plus.
