We’re seeking a Senior Piping Engineer with proven expertise in slurry systems and tailings facilities to join a leading engineering team on major mining projects. About the role:
You’ll take a lead role in piping design and engineering for slurry pipelines and tailings handling systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. The position requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes across design, studies, and project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Lead or support piping design for slurry pipelines and tailings facilities
Conduct stress analysis, hydraulic assessments, and material selection specific to slurry flow
Provide engineering input during design, construction, and commissioning
Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and safety requirements

About you:

10+ years’ experience in piping engineering, with strong slurry-specific project work
Expertise in tailings handling, thickened tailings, and slurry transport systems
Strong background working on large-scale resources/mining projects
Ability to collaborate effectively with civil, mechanical, and process disciplines
