Job Title: Senior Technology Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Technology Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of technology systems across healthcare, education, and corporate building projects. This role combines technical expertise with client advocacy, mentorship, and collaboration to create impactful engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technology engineering design (voice/data networks, audiovisual, and/or security systems) throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare system calculations, equipment selection, layouts, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct site visits, system evaluations, and provide construction administration support.
Collaborate with project teams to meet performance, schedule, aesthetic, and financial goals.
Develop strong relationships with clients by presenting options, resolving issues, and advising on best practices.
Provide technical review and mentorship to junior engineers, assigning tasks and supporting their growth.
Contribute to project financial management by submitting fees and tracking project goals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) or relevant field experience.
5+ years of experience in the building engineering industry.
Proficiency in Revit and electronic drawing platforms such as Bluebeam.
Strong knowledge of BICSI design standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

BICSI Certification (RCDD) or willingness to obtain.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam (not required).
Experience with healthcare and higher education projects.
Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods.
