Overview:
We are seeking a professional, experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth running of a private household in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling all aspects of household operations — from staff management and vendor negotiations to budgets and logistics. This is a small operation with small team and family.

Preference will be given to native English speakers and candidates with a hospitality or hotel management background, though flexibility will be shown for exceptional applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen & Household Operations

Prepare menus and ensure cooks/chefs follow them accurately.
Oversee kitchen hygiene, organisation, and pantry/fridge stocking.
Manage household shopping, both online and offline.

Facilities & Vendor Management

Liaise with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and contracts.
Demonstrate sound understanding of electrical, plumbing, gardening, and civil works to negotiate effectively.
Ensure all facilities are well maintained and running efficiently.

Finances & Budget Control

Manage petty cash and household budget.
Track expenses, prepare reports, and analyse data to suggest cost-saving improvements.

Staff Management

Oversee a team of household staff, ensuring respect and smooth coordination.
Handle HR matters, including hiring, visas, scheduling, and staff issues.
Maintain a productive, professional, and respectful work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a House Manager in VIP or UHNW households.
Native English speaker preferred.
Open to UAE based candidates only.
Female candidate preferred, though flexible for the right profile.
Hotel management qualifications or similar a strong advantage.
Excellent organisational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial and HR management capabilities.
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and think ahead.
