Company Overview:
We are a full-service fire protection contractor providing design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and life safety systems. With a strong reputation in commercial, residential, and industrial markets, we are looking for a Project Manager who can oversee projects while driving new business growth.

Position Summary:
The Fire Protection Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of fire sprinkler projects while also developing and maintaining client relationships that generate new business. This dual role requires technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to identify opportunities, estimate projects, and close sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage fire protection projects from bid award through close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to code.
Oversee field crews, material procurement, scheduling, and safety compliance.
Act as the primary client contact for assigned projects, maintaining strong relationships with GCs, developers, and property owners.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in construction and retrofit markets.
Prepare and review estimates, proposals, and change orders.
Attend pre-bid meetings, conduct site visits, and negotiate contracts.
Collaborate with design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor job costs, labor hours, and project profitability.
Represent the company with professionalism to AHJs, inspectors, and industry partners.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in fire protection contracting, with a strong background in project management.
Demonstrated success in construction sales, estimating, or business development within fire protection.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 13 and applicable building/fire codes.
NICET Level II+ in Water-Based Systems (preferred).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites and client meetings.
