What You Will Do

The Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender is responsible for meeting and
exceeding budgeted deposit, fee income, and commercial lending goals. You will develop new business opportunities, structuring and closing commercial loans. You will also provide superior professional quality customer service to new and established Climate First Bank customers, including cross-selling of products and services, while maintaining and servicing a commercial loan portfolio.

As the Jacksonville office grows, you will build a team of Commercial Lenders and lead the establishment of a brick and mortar Branch Office.

Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and solicit new loan opportunities.
Achieve sales meeting and sales call goals.
Cross-sell all Bank products and services, seeking to develop and maintain whole customer relationships.
Develop referral relationships with realtors, CPA’s, builders, and other sources.
Solicit, negotiate, and coordinate loan closings.
Monitor the credit quality of the loan portfolio to ensure proper credit grade application and risk level identification for each loan
Keep customers closely informed, explain the loan process, answer all questions promptly, advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payment.
Build out a Commercial Lending team and lead a future brick and mortar branch office in Jacksonville
Represent Climate First Bank in its market through active participation in community affairs and events.
Contribute to achieving all relevant impact goals including Community Reinvestment Act and multi-cultural lending goals.

Qualifications:

Prior commercial lending experience required.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Educated in financial products and services, banking regulations and laws.
