Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer (Blockchain) to join our clinet's dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to contribute their expertise in backend development and blockchain technology. You will play a crucial role in building scalable and efficient systems that leverage blockchain for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and services that support blockchain applications.
Implement and optimize C++ applications for blockchain indexing and data processing.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and performance.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Stay updated with the latest blockchain technologies and integration practices to continuously improve existing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend infrastructure.
Write and maintain clear documentation for backend processes and application functionality.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
Proficient in C++ programming and strong understanding of blockchain technology.
Familiarity with indexing processes in blockchain environments.
Experience with API design and development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.

Desired Experience

Experience in software development for blockchain platforms.
Previous experience working in an agile development environment.
Knowledge of databases and data modeling.
Experience with cloud services and infrastructure management is advantageous.
