The Team

This role is part of our Research team, made up of true industry veterans and experts. Our team members, including Account Directors, bring a mix of supplier-side and client-side experience. We believe clients deserve expertise at all phases of engagement, meaning our researchers own customer service and success. You must be equally comfortable heads-down in the data as you are participating in a client presentation.

The Role

We’re looking for a Research Manager to support, and in some cases own, project execution from start to finish. Your work will include designing and programming surveys, managing data collection, analysis, and crafting compelling reports that tell a cohesive story. You will partner internally and work with clients directly to understand their needs and ensure delivery of quality work.

What You’ll Do

Project Execution Ownership: Lead the process of translating research design into execution, managing survey programming, field, and quality control for a diverse portfolio of projects.
Full Cycle Management: Own all project phases (with Account Director support) for identified projects, including keeping projects on track to meet strict client timelines.
Client-Facing Communication: Be a primary client-facing member of the team, attending calls and meetings (Zoom) to support direct client communication and presentation.
Design & Programming: Translate study design into surveys via our proprietary platform and other programming tools.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Process and tabulate survey data; design tables and report deliverables with the client's end-goals in mind, focusing on making data actionable and visualizing it effectively.
Business Support: Support Account Directors across various needs, including helping draft research proposals and client contracts, managing supplier relationships, and assisting with the diverse needs of startup life.

Must be: Highly motivated, curious, self-starter, analytically driven, customer, and service-oriented.
Core Skills: Excellent communication, organization, time management, and an ability to oversee many projects in multiple stages at the same time.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years’ experience in quantitative market research (at least 1 year of supplier-side research preferred), with additional experience in qualitative approaches welcome.
Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Psychology, or a related field; or relevant work experience equivalent.
Technical Proficiency: Strong in Microsoft Office products (mainly PowerPoint and Excel), proficient in Google Suite products.
Research Tools: Experience in survey programming platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer) or a proven willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Advanced Tools (Plus): Experience with statistical/data processing software like SPSS, R, Q, and/or Displayr or experience in advanced analytics is a plus.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
Work Environment: Ability to work from home or a co-working space that allows for focused, productive work and a professional environment for daily client video calls.
