Develop subcontractor and material supplier bid lists, solicit proposals, and analyze bids for scope and completeness.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering strategies.
Participate in client meetings, owner presentations, and preconstruction hand-offs with project teams.
Maintain historical cost databases, supplier contacts, and current pricing information for use in future estimates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
3–8 years of estimating or preconstruction experience, ideally with a general contractor.
Experience preparing detailed take-offs, subcontractor bid packages, and GMP estimates.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

This position will primarily focus on retail expansion and remodel programs throughout the Midwest, East Coast, and Southeast, with additional involvement in multifamily and hospitality projects.
