Sales Representative
Summary
As a Sales Representative in the US market, you will be responsible for selling products or services. The sales
representativee will help achieve sales goals by building relationships with customers, understanding their
needs, and executing sales strategies.
Essential Duties
Requesting Quotes from Existing and New Customers
• Receive inquiries from customers and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to suppliers.
• Collect price quotations, terms, and conditions from suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, specifications, and lead times with suppliers.
• Present quotations to customers and finalize project orders.

Retaining and Expanding Existing Customers
• Maintain strong relationships and build trust with existing customers.
• Identify new customer programs and obtain quotations for potential supply opportunities.
• Provide consultation regarding existing products; address quality or performance issues from other suppliers and promote switching to our products.
• Improve customer satisfaction through proactive support and problem resolution.

Sourcing and Developing New Suppliers
• Identify potential suppliers through exhibitions or company visits.
• Negotiate NDAs, purchase agreements, and terms of trade.

Acquiring New Customers
• Identify and approach potential customers through market research and networking.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and propose tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Conduct negotiations to generate demand and successfully close deals.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis
• Gather and analyze U.S. market trends, customer insights, and competitor information.
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies to strengthen the company’s competitive advantage.

Reporting and Documentation
• Accurately record all sales activities, quotations, and customer information.
• Submit regular reports on sales results, market trends, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager and other relevant departments.

Qualifications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Active listening and the ability to understand customer needs.
Teamwork and a spirit of cooperation.
Ability to deliver results under pressure.
Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).
College degree or equivalent experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%-75% of the time.
Willingness to participate in meetings or calls during early morning or late evening hours to accommodate international business partners or customers.
